Finally got some snow up in the Tennessee mountains near the Ocoee. Had a great time driving forest roads and hiking creeks with the pup. Other than a low fuel situation where the gas door mechanism was frozen shut, my ORP performed beautifully and I was very impressed with my new AT3s... mostly.

Unfortunately, on the very last hill before I headed home, the steepest of the day by far, I had a slide that resulted in a small low speed boop with a Jeep going the other direction. I didn't realize the hill was pavement instead of dirt/rock like the rest and was going a tad faster than I should have been. Totally my fault. Fortunately the Jeep had big poked out wheels and I just bumped his tire a bit, no damage to him at all and the owner was extremely cool about it. I'm pissed at myself but was planning on getting the wider fender flares anyway, so could be worse. Will need a new body panel to go with them though.

Does anyone know what that front corner body panel is called? (Not the flares, the part they're duct taped to under the headlight.)

I believe that’s part #52113-35913. You should still double check with your dealership’s parts department to confirm.

I just got the front level kit installed last week and thought I was pretty much done with mods for a while. Only other thing I was thinking about was the wider fender flares since my wheels are +20mm. So of all the parts I could have busted, losing a fender I was already going to replace isn't the worst thing! Guessing that bumper extension is going to be a PITA to swap out though, so I guess it's back to the shop.

It actually isn’t hard to replace that bumper extension. Just watch some videos on front grille replacement to get an idea of how to remove the front bumper. I’d say you can get it done in an hour or less without breaking a sweat.

This could be the perfect opportunity to replace that part of the bumper with the trailhunter/pro variant! That way you get an OEM viper cut and get to easily run the trailhunter/pro fender flares!

Looks like your dog had an enjoyable time. This is why they make spares. Glad everyone was ok

Oh dang, I knew about most of the other differences but never realized they had a different corner panel there too. At this point cost-wise I'm definitely approaching "should have just bought a Pro" territory.... do you think the wife would notice?

I feel you man - these cars really aren't cheap anymore. For me at least, the Pro was a no-go simply because it was a hybrid. On top of that I wanted the switchable 4WD and diff lock so ORP was really the only way I could go. With that being said though, I do plan to retrofit the stuff that I like from the Pro (viper cut, headlights, etc.)

Yeah, I didn't realize the PRO only came in hybrid, that would be a no-go for me as well. I did see one in Mudbath yesterday though and damn it looks good. Never thought I liked Mudbath all that much from pictures online but it definitely turned my head in person.
