I finally caught a perfect clip of the noise that’s driving me nuts. Anyone else have this noise and resolved it. It only really happens below freezing temps and after the car warms up. Dealerships have been absolutely useless.

not much help here, but it looks like the noise increases as rpm increases. that's.....disconcerting

Yeah it actually goes away above 1500 rpm. It’s just between 1400-1500.

I think I have the same (or similar noise). It seems to be coming from the top left of the dashboard and only happens at low idle. For me it has nothing to do with temp...I'm in Atlanta and temps are in the 50s/60s. It really doesn't sound like an engine issue...it sounds more like something rattling around under the dash because of the engine harmonic...

I am bringing this thread back to life as i am having the identical issue. It started showing up around 2000 km and now at 3500 km and its constant between 1400 - 1500 rpm.

i had my friend hold the break and gas at the same time at 1500 rom while i popped the hood and investigated. It appears to be a resonance from the engine block itself.
I am going to mess around with some ideas i have and post back if this fixes the issue.

sorry, i should give more context to help others understand.

To further my experience and validation, my sound is identical to yours in The video, so much so that i was referencing your video while making my truck do it at the same time and its 100% the exact sound you have.

Anything below 1400 rpm and the sound is gone and as soon as i hit 1600 rpm it goes away / stops, but between 1400-1500 its there constant. It also is more present when under load. You can try testing in neutral or park and the vibration is still there but its substantially more present and obvious when actual load is on the engine during the test.

The rattle sounds like its the dash vibrating against a loose wire or cable but after investigation with my friend it is obnoxiously present in the actual engine bay and appears to be transferring through the firewall into the cab of the truck.

i held a screwdriver against the engine block as my friend slowly increased RPM’s under load and as soon as he hit 1400 rom i could literally feel the rattle resonance through the screwdriver shaft from the engine block.

i dont think its any serious issue and is normal operation, it may just be an unfortunate noise that comes with this platform.
