Hello,
does anyone know if there is a real difference between the design of the hybrid versus The non-hybrid Transfer Case skid plate? OE part number is 228-35 247 for the hybrid and 35248 for the non hybrid.
They both look exactly the same? Thanks in advance

Dam. They do look like exactly the same image on the toyota dealer sites. Only difference is that the 35247 says: "Exact fit for your 2025 4RUNNER HYBRID" and the 35248 says: "May not fit your 2025 4RUNNER HYBRID".
What I can say is that the landcruiser version (which also looks exactly the same) has yet another number (228-35241) and fit my TRD ORP hybrid. AND the trailhunter instruction sheet has "HV" next to the part number Trailhunter skid plate install guide.
I know that there is more going on in that area the skid covers on my hybrid than the non hybrid. Found this great video of the undercarriage of a TRD Sport non-hybrid to see the difference (I have photos of mine but nothing that clearly shows the whole area underneath.) non-hybrid undercarriage vid. I can't tell if the mounting locations or some clearance point would be different but not sure why they would have different PNs if not. Good luck and hope maybe something I linked is helpful. I'm curious what the final answer is.

I don't want the complete pan, I'm just looking for the short Transfer Case skid plate.
I called the dealer today and spoke with service department they had no clue, spoke with the parts department and he said if Toyota made a specific part number for it it means that there's something that is different between the hybrid and the gas version.

Not something I'm pulling my hair out for, just like that post from the guy who commented about the Wheels and how everyone hates them:)

I think they're kind of cool and I think in 10 years they'll be looked at as hey this is a vintage OEM wheel! I do like the other versions of the TRD Wheels but this is what the cards dealt me so form follows function. I would rather put my money into a suspension upgrade for a level lift. But a transfer case skid plate is something I think that would be very useful for the small curb size Rocks.
