Cut off exhaust (14" section) for cleaner look & clearance

Just saying, Toyota put this on the Tacoma TrailHunter.

Just make sure you point the exhaust exit down and away from components. I didn't pay attention to that detail and I melted an upper control arm bushing on my LX570.

Where I cut, nobody has anything to worry about. No where close to burning anything...

Mine has a resonator within the 14inch area and hooks to hold it after the resonator! What the heck hahaha, so no i cant cut it short, cutting before the resonator off would be too short, cutting after the resonator wouldnt make that much of a difference

Looks like yours has a different exhaust than the Pros and THs. That's a bummer. Can you post a pic of what you mean?

I'll be cutting mine off this weekend, already has scrapes in it from bottoming out. I was just gonna go to the first hanger but I like where you cut yours.

Now I gotta figure out the spare tire thing...

Yep, certainly different than the Pros. You can cut it further back before the resonator where the pipe is pointing downwards and you'd be fine. There should be another support hanger right before the axle if it's similar to mine. Probably save like 10lbs too. LOL

This much be a Pro or Hybrid thing, because mine has a big resonator right there with the hanger attached to it. I'll likely do something custom myself because it needs to go, as it hangs super low now that the tire is gone.

Any exhaust movement without that rear hanger. I dropped mine out of the hanger and it seems like it moves quite a bit.
