Here's part one; Electrical pre-install. Be kind please.

1.5x speed is probably OK

Here's part two: Actual bumper and winch install. I tried to do more editing/speed up of boring parts.

And many thanks to everybody who posted similar install videos before me. You inspired me to record this for the benefit of others.

@mtk_rob , thanks for the video.

Had to close my eyes when you started cutting into the bumper to make it all fit!

Maybe after a few years, I will cut into the bumper and upgrade mine just like yours!

looking forward to your build!

Did you install the Warn wireless module? Also, are you able to access the clutch to free spool the line? Thx

There was nothing to install. The wireless works OOTB. You can see me using the wireless remote at 42:45 to extend and retract the line.

You can access the clutch through the cut-out (HIgh lift jack port?) on the right side of the fairlead. In the picture below, you can see where it says "12S" on the body of the winch inside behind the bumper through the port. It's tight but reachable. It's not really visible from man-height - stealth, as it were - but you can see it where you crouch down like I am in the shot below.

I installed the EVO 12S, might be more ergonomic with a 10K# if its smaller all-around but you can still reach right in and flip the lever.

There is also a Bluetooth module from WARN that allows you to wirelessly control your winch using your iPhone or Android device, which @THNC6G may have been referring to. See below:

These videos are super helpful, and I'll be referring to them when I do my install here soon... Thanks!

I'm curious - could you take some calipers and measure the gap between the bottom edge of the grille, and the top of the CBI bumper? I notice that the gap seems fairly wide and the cut plastic is somewhat visible in some of the install videos I've seen, so I'm thinking about installing something like this to act as a compressible gasket which would seal the gap and have a more finished look. Curious what others think about this...

I think that's just an odd angle which you wouldn't normally see. I'm crouched down to show the ports in the bumper and the oem skid plate. You're looking out through the bottom/side which is back-lit by the garage lights. You can see it through the stock grille up 6" higher as well.

Sure you could put a rubber gasket on top of the bumper (I think maybe you accidentally linked another item above) but I don't think it'd normally be visible. You could also cut the bumper differently and leave more material than I did. It's just a piece of plastic. I cut it down to the trim in a couple of stages and settled on what I thought looked best, which was cutting away all of white/body lower fascia so just the black part with the fog lights and license plate rides above the bumper.

If/when CBI posts their official install video maybe they'll give clearer instructions.
