Burger Motorsports / JB4 Oil Catch Can Install & Review.
We will update in 30 day and every oil change moving forward !
Update: Burger Motorsports Oil Catch Can to arrived !
Above:
Open the Box of Mystery!
Above:
Make sure all your parts are present !
Below:
Locate your work area!
Above : Remove the 2 10mm Bolts!
Above:
Connect the bottom Adapter with the 2 Longest Allen Bolts to the Riser, now use the original 2 10mm bolts to reattach to OEM
Above:
Next attach the Oil Catch Can Mount to the Riser!
Above:
Mount the Oil Catch Can to the Riser!
Above:
Relocate the Original Hose to the left Oil Catch Can inlet, use the Burger Motorsports hose to the Original inlet on the Engine and the other side to the Oil Catch Can!
Below:
Now gently Pull back slightly on this hose to the forward of the engine bay to avoid any rubbing!
All done!
Just check the catch can every once in a while and empty and clean every Oil Change!
This install was very simple and took basic knowledge to perform.
We choose Burger Motorsports Catch Can because it had the the shortest hoses and this is critical for it to work well.
Hope this helps you all make the right choices for your 4Runner!
Update: Nothing noticable pertaining to driving or noises, I guess its one of those things that you wont notice until you decide to empty it out during the oil change.
