Westcott Designs I've heard good things and is sitting at my house when I can find a day to get it installed I will report back, but is supposed to keep the geometry and stuff the same so you don't wear things out, look for the pre load collar lift thread and costs about 500

How is the Wescott kit treating you and your drive quality for these past five months?

Oh it’s been great. I’ve done about 7k miles since install. I feel the right quality feels the same as stock, but the stance looks great. The extra clearance came in handy hitting trails in Arizona and California. I did have the alignment done after install. It wasn’t awful, but it should’ve been done.

Where did you have your alignment done? I had a one inch leveling lift on the front end and scheduled Firestone to perform the alignment. This particular shop is usually pretty good, but they didn’t tell me they couldn’t do it when I set up the appointment. We even rescheduled over the phone when they were backed up yesterday. I even told the guy today it was exactly the same specs as the ‘24 Tacoma, but he insisted that didn’t account for the safety features needing to be reprogrammed as well. Whatever…. Long story short, I don’t want to take it to the dealership unless I have to.

Doesn't matter if you go to the dealership or not, as of last month they don't have them in their system either, their using the Tacoma numbers to realign.

Here's the specs before and after alignment from the dealership with a 1" PEAK front installed.

Wow! Thanks! So, if I consistently deliver that message about using the Tacoma specs, I might be able to talk someone into doing it or at least get the dealership to do it. That’s crazy though!

I went to Toyota. They didn’t have the 2025 specs when I had it done in March so it took over an hour to get it dialed in

The ReadyLift was what was put on the front of mine. The guy who installed didn’t want to add anymore lift than that. I’m really impressed with how it turned out. Now, I’m going to a local Midas shop for the alignment. He said he can handle it.
