not my proudest moment, but I couldn't get the lance retainer lifted, so
I went ham and cut/twist/soldered/shrank

swapped sky blue with pink
21 sky blue - down
22 pink - up

now pulling switch down lowers window, pushing up raises window

...Finally! I can sleep...

Since I had already installed the meso map lights, I switched the wires in harness adapter, and bam! Pull down and the window comes down, push up and the window goes up!

so, the back window switch seems to defy logic. press up to make window
go down, pull down to make window go up.

Well, if you drop the overhead console box the switch is direct connected
to the PCB, so not easy to make a change.

The connector though, is accessible. Anyone brave enough to flip
these pins 20 and 19 and make the switch operate like some of us think it should ?

Pull down, window down, push up, window up.

NOTE: 20 and 19 are test points, there is no wire there
the actual wires/pins to flip are 22,21

21 sky blue - down
22 pink - up
Yeah, it was bit confusing at first. This is my 4th 4Runner and each one had a different method for rolling that lift gate glass up or down. I found that I was able to adjust and train myself on the latest method.
