I reached out to ARB to ask, but they said this rack was made special for Toyota and they cannot tell me what mounting points or accessories work with the rack. Which seems, not like a great answer, but okay. Putting that aside, I am trying to get some basic recovery gear to start going on some solo adventures with the wife.

Was going to pick up some of these and wanted to mount them to the top of the vehicle.

I was assuming these would work but would like to get some confirmation from anyone else that might have tried on the factory ARB rack with the OEM slats. Or, better option if one is known.

the ARB support is TERRIBLE. its comical that they disavow any knowledge of the trailhunter accessories? what was the point of this? why did toyota put this ridiculously expensive but barely functional POS on their highest trim if ARB wasn't going to support it? also basically no aftermarket accessories fit this rack without heavy modification. i am still waiting for exterior molle panels that fit the TH but ARB doesn't make them and no 3rd party wants to make theirs compatible with ARB.

anyhoo, I used the "ARB 1780310 Base Rack Traction Mat Mount Recovery Boards Mount, Ideal for ARB Tred Pro Recovery Boards, Works on All ARB Base Rack Model" to mount my RhinoUSA boards perpendicular to the rails at the back of the rack.

Thank you, I was looking at that kit as well. I do agree on the support. Which is why I am hesitant to further support them by getting boards, snatch strap, and soft shackle from them. But alas.

i wouldn't overpay for their boards. maxtrax are the gold standard. but i like rhinousa for high quality at less astronomical prices.

Maybe I'll just snag some Maxtrax MKII for $279 and be done with it. I like that survival shovel from Rhino too. Will wait for the larger one to come back in stock.

Thanks, @6Gen4RunnerOwner. I did see those today on the Toyota site as well. I wish they would include more pictures of their accessories across the board. Maybe I'll just roll the dice and buy them to see how they are. My local shop was pretty cool about me returning something without a restocking fee if I used the credit to buy something else. So if they don't work I don't think I'd be stuck with them.
