Yes! I recently installed the Alpine 6 speaker set and I can say that, YES, there is a huge difference in sound quality. I also had previously installed the Beat Sonic ENA-3T3 amp.Anyone have the alpine speaker kit? If so is it a noticeable upgrade for the base system?
***CORRECTION: the rear speakers are coaxial.Yes! I recently installed the Alpine 6 speaker set and I can say that, YES, there is a huge difference in sound quality. I also had previously installed the Beat Sonic ENA-3T3 amp.
The Alpine speaker set come with dash speakers are coaxial 2-way speakers and so you get the highs coming in crisp and clear. That was greatly noticeable.
The front door speakers are component and provide clear mids plus way better bass than the stock speakers (obviously).
The rear door speakers are component and provide crisp highs, clear mids, and great bass.
Install was SUPER easy, especially following Trail Grid Pro's install video on YouTube.
Overall, I highly recommend this kit if you want way better sound than the stock speakers and if you're on you're not looking to spend too much. This set is on TGP's site for under $600.
I also bought the Sound Skins foam rings to help with directing the sound from the speakers forward. Eventually I will install a sound deadening kit.
