The imax hybrid has 465 lb ft of torque and does the job head and shoulders over my 5th gen's V6. Think you'll be waiting a long long time. If it's that important you can purchase Lexus GX if you can live with 15mpg. I drove one and still chose the 4Runner.
“Naturally” having issues. My 6th gen force max walks all over my 5th antique V6. Maybe they’d go 300k miles but they were noisy and very thirsty dogs.
I 95% fixed the two front rattling windows from suggestions on this forum. Seat belt rattles on pillar but it does on my $175k Porsche as well. My ‘16 5th gen was lifted with big meats and never had a tick, rattle or vibration in 53k miles.
18.6 mpg with 1900 miles and 285/70/18’s. Beats my 5th gen’s 16 mpg’s but with the smaller tank I am filling much more frequently which is a pain in the ass after 4 years with my X5 MSport that would go 500 miles on on a tank.
I’m now over 19 mpg average and have hit 22 briefly several times. I’m rarely over 70 Hwy and mostly lazy speeds around town. I leave adrenaline driving for the Porsche.
Loved my ‘16 5th gen 4Runner. Drove 53k miles in 4.5 years and sold for $2600 under what I paid new. Only negative was the gas mileage and old 5 spd auto. Bought a new ‘21 BMW X5 M sport. Loved the luxury and driving but at 48.5k miles and 7 mos past warranty I kept thinking of all the various...
I bought my ‘25 TRD OffRoad iForceMax on a dealer $4k off ad 2 weeks ago. I didn’t really look at the window sticker with options until the next day and saw $1395 for TRD Catback exhaust. What a joke. I would have bought my mine regardless but sure would never have spec’d an order with it...
