Hi, first time posting. I was able to scoop up a set of TRD OR wheels off FBMP. And was going to throw them onto our new SR5.

Also are these Bf goodriches considered good tires? Any opinions are welcome and appreciated!

Wondering if anyone has utilized the dual wheel setting I found in the manual.

It says you can have two sets of wheels programmed to your 4R. Has anyone used this feature? Also has anyone else swapped TRD OR wheels onto their SR5? I tried searching it, but couldn't find a dedicated thread using the search. Anyone looking to do this. Feel free to add to the thread!

"Your vehicle is equipped with a tire pressure warning system with a function to register two sets of ID codes. This allows for registration of a second wheel set, for example a winter set." Taken from the manual etc.

Thanks again for any/all input.

PS: hope lugging the wheels around in my Lunar Rock 3rd gen is allowed! lol
PPS: I have a GR corolla too!
PPPS: Toyota guy for life.

Love the Luna Rock color!
No opinion about the tires. Others seem to have strong opinions about the various brands. I'm still using and liking the stock Michelin LTX Trails my TRD ORP came with. I've got them mounted on TRD PRO wheels (18x8.5 +20 offset). My second set for winter and off-roading: Toyo A/T III 285/75R18 (34.8" dia) mounted on TRD Flat Black wheels (18x8 +45). I've swapped between them 5 or 6 times in 15K miles (and will be doing the swap tonight for some off-roading tomorrow).

Once the TPMS are registered on the vehicle, the swap is easy - just pick the set you registered. For me my stock tires are set 1 and offroad are 2.
To register a set... Settings (gear icon) -> Vehicle Settings (press and hold OK) -> TPWS Setting -> Tire Set Switching -> Register New Valve/ID. Use the meter control switches to select the set you wish to register (typically Tire Set 2 for your second set) and press OK
Registration takes a bit of driving (20 minutes?) for the connection to be made and wheel position verified.

To swap between sets: Settings -> Vehicle Settings -> TPWS Setting -> Tire Set Switching -> Register Valve/ID. Select the Set: Use the meter control switches to select the set that corresponds to the wheels currently on the vehicle ("Tire Set 1" or "Tire Set 2") and select OK.
The change takes a short time driving to show up on the TPMS power measurements on the dash. Note the difference: "register new valve/ID" vs "register valve/ID."

Re: swapping TRD OR wheels.... The 4th Gen Tacoma and 6th Gen 4Runner have the same hub diameter** and lug pattern and lug size (14 mm) I believe. So that part of using the wheel is no issue. But interestingly the Tacoma TRD OR is a 17x7.5" wheel while the Tacoma TRS ORP and both TRD OR 4Runners is 18x7.5" but they look identical. See Toyota Wheel charts from Ed Martin Toyota and Every 2026 wheel option for Toyota trucks. So when I look at the wheels in the back of your Taco, I can't tell for sure whether they are 17" or 18". Certainly something to check if you are buying new tires.
**BTW - the hub diameter on the earlier generations was bigger and the studs were smaller so that is a factor to bear in mind, but it looks like you took from a 4th Gen Taco so no issue for you.
