@Man Rome I ordered and recently received delivery of it. I haven't had a chance to install it yet. I also have a hybrid. Because the 12v starter battery for the hybrid is in a compartment located in the rear cargo area, I plan to connect power for the kill switch control box from a fuse slot (has to be a fuse slot that is continuously powered) in the fuse box in the front engine bay rather than the 12v starter battery. I purchased some fuse taps from Amazon which the folks at 41.22 had suggested to me. Here's the link for the pack of fuse taps on Amazon that the folks at 41.22 had suggested to me: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS69VMF8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I bought the button version then returned it for the remote version. Haven’t installed it yet. Been studying the fuse box and trying to figure out how I get the wire out without shutting the lid on it and risking damaging it over time. I know there is an area where a bunch of wires exit thru a conduit. Let me know if you figure that out. Saw one guy online dremel a gap in the lid but don’t want to risk water getting in there.

You could Dremel a gap like that guy did and then epoxy the gap to seal it.

Can you share the link of the video or post of the guy who Dremel a pass-through on the fuse box lid?

Here’s a video from that vlogger Chloe. She shows the little door you can access. I’ll try to find the dremel one.

Dremel (actually drill) guy.

@mcd_ovrlnd Rather than using the Dremel tool to notch the lip of the fuse box lid, I was thinking of just drilling a small hole (just big enough for the kill switch control box wiring to pass through) in the lip of the fuse box lid (if there's enough surface area) or the upper side of the fuse box and installing a rubber grommet for the wire pass-through for a more finished look and be moisture resistant / watertight. I still don't think it will be an 100% waterproof penetration, but it'll probably look better than just notching or drilling a hole. Here's an example of the rubber grommet that I'm talking about: https://a.co/d/00sM85u6

@mcd_ovrlnd Yeah, I've seen this video in the past. This is the video I originally watched before deciding to buy the remote version of this kill switch. I used the discount code that she includes in the description section for this YouTube video.

mine is a hybrid but I have a power plate installed in my engine bay that runs lines up from the starter battery in the rear.

@mcd_ovrlnd The terminal located inside the fuse box in the front engine bay -- that is connected to the positive terminal of the 12v starter battery in the rear cargo compartment -- is the other option for power source for the 41.22 kill switch control box. I had considered it before leaning towards the fuse tap option. I would reconsider utilizing the positive terminal in the fuse box if there a secure way to connect the wiring from the kill switch control box to the power plate. Is there a small screw clamp terminal connector for wiring to securely clamp to the terminal?

I had the power plate installed so I could wire a switch panel and other accessories. They ran 2/o wiring from the rear battery. So I can wire my kill switch to the power plate.
