My wife and I have owned her Ice Cap ORP for a couple months now.

We’ve tinted the front windows, added Thule cross bars, and leveled the front with a 1”Ready Lift leveling kit. Next are wheels and tires, however she can’t decide on wheels and I am kind of partial to staying factory.

At first I hated the stock ORP non upgrade wheels and know going to a 17” wheel gives us better tire choices but the stock rims are kind of growing on me. I haven’t come across any photos of the stock ORP wheels with 285/65/18’s. Anyone go this route and mount a larger tire, maybe with at least a 1” level on the stock rims? We will probably choose Wildpeak AT4’s as we had those on her Outback and have AT3’s on our Jeep Wrangler and really like their performance. The other option would be MT Baja Boss AT’s as that’s what I run on my Tundra and love them. Although a little more aggressive looking for her tastes.

Pics would be appreciated if someone is running a similar set up.

My tires are 265/70/18. Not sure if you want wider or taller or both.
When my tires wear out I might go 265/75/18. I'm not sure yet. I do like having the 75 aspect ratio a little higher. Keeping the 265 is more fuel efficient as you are not pounding the ground as much. . My overlanding style is not extreme so I prefer a larger aspect ratio to give me more ground clearance and more cushion for the Overland. For me getting to dirt trails require a lot of asphalt pounding and I like a quiet ride ! But that's just me , Hope this helps

Thanks for the insight. I like the idea of a lil taller but about the same width or slightly wider if I can find a C range tire.
I didn't realize the 285/65/18 was about the same height and only wider than the stock tires.
Basically looking at around a 33 but staying same width. And seeing that type of tire on the stock ORP rims.
