PPF - Full Protection

Can you tell me what areas dont have PPF? My installer said that there were several areas that he couldn't do. Example pillars and rear hatch etc.

BTW nice build
Thanks šŸ™
The entire vehicle is PPF’d. The authorized XPEL dealer used full sheet, instead of the pre-cut version for the vehicle. They removed all the badges, door handles, lights to get the seams as close and tight as possible. It cost a lot more this way, my Pro stayed in the shop for a week.

Went with the LT265/70R18 for time being. I’m quite impressed with the hybrid tire. Thought there would be more vibration and humming from the tread. Nothing, of the sort. No regrets with the purchase.

I replaced mine too few months ago, with the same Toyo’s but 295/70/R18 as you said a little more sound from the tires thread, but im really impressed with the truck ride after the upgrade, also i have a westcott designs level kith without front top hats.

@Pelo18 : I haven't done the rust proofing yet but did contact Krown (local branch), I'm just waiting on a call back from them. Would you mind telling me if your contractor over in BC ended up drilling holes in your frame, etc in order to spray Krown in the crevices or did you ask them only to do the coating on the visible surfaces? Odd to ask but how did you go about asking them to do the undercoating in order to prevent any Warranty issues, etc?

Please let me know whenever you get a chance. Cheers!

The Krown dealer drilled holes in the door panels to get the application inside. Krown don't randomly drill holes, they are in a specific spot designated from the company. So, the oil can creep into the seams. That’s where rust usually start inside out. You don’t notice the plugs covering the holes, unless you’re looking for them. They are so inconspicuous, looks like it came from the factory. Also, this will be my last vehicle, as I get ready to retire from work.

Ok perfect, thank you for the additional info. I wasn’t sure what was meant by ā€œdrilling holes in the frameā€ but if they are specific to the doors to allow the fluid to reach everything, that’s good.

have a great day and thanks again!
