2025 4Runner squeal when shutting off

I have new 2025 4runner- When i turn it off it squeals normal? Then when its sits it make a tiny squeel noise. Is this normal.

Yep, mine does this also. I believe it is the parking brake being engaged, can somebody confirm this?

does your make a whining noise right when you power off? mine does.

Squeal after it shuts off? No that doesnt sound normal. Roll your windows down. While pressing the brake and engage the parking brake and disengage a few times. Double check it is not that sound.

Its the e-parking brake engaging. Park on a slight incline, you can tell it's on.

Its the parking brakes, and all the other noises when you turn the engine off are the cooling systems still on giving the turbo the final cool down, this was explained by the toyota technician in my dealership

The squeal I hear is maybe 20-30 seconds after I shut the engine off. Does it really take that long for the parking brake to engage?

Mine is immediately within 3 secs after shutting off my engine.
