First question. When I remote start, about half the time my bluetooth will not connect without a shutdown and restart. Annoying as hell.. is that just a quirk of the system?

second question. I use AM radio, and some of the presets have incorrect station name and graphic for this region. Others are correct. Any way to fix this? Again irritating.
other than that, great vehicle except for the stupidly small fuel tank.

When you say it won't connect, What I have to do sometimes is click on settings then Bluetooth and then devices and select my phone and it will connect.

The Bluetooth and Android Auto setup in this vehicle is pretty bad. And yeah, after remote starting, it doesn't connect AND the screen stays off. I have to turn it on and/or reboot it or fully restart the truck. It'll drop connection after an hour or so and not reconnect without forgetting the connection in the radio and the phone and restarting the connection process from scratch. It's infuriating. This isn't new shit.

every morning ill remote start and when i get to my car if you hit settings -> bluetooth-> then check the slider for carplay on your phone and itll automatically connect. much much quicker than restarting the car

I have also noticed that my phone won't connect after I have used the phone Toyota app to remote start. I get into the running car and put my foot on brake and push start to authorize. I go into settings for that phone and it's disconnected. I can turn on the "Use as phone" and the phone connects, but it won't connect with CarPlay until I stop and start the car. I was thinking it's some sort of security thing?

I only listen to one local AM station sometimes and the icon, graphic for it is correct. There's probably some sort of national registry database for the AM stations?

Make sure you are connected to the vehicle’s WiFi

I think that is not correct. The WiFi is to provide devices Internet access via the WiFi hotspot feature that is operated by AT&T. All CarPlay and phone connections to the multimedia system is via Bluetooth.

Someone check me on this.
