Following. I don’t have the canter display showing temp. I too like to warm up in colder temp.
Curious, if that is oil or coolant temp. Maybe they are different???
I have not had the vibration you describe so cannot help in that area.
Wow... I really think you need to get them to buy it back and use the money to get a smother vehicle. Lexus maybe. Do you really need the body on frame or would a unibody work. I was staring to look at vehicles with air...
The warranty issue is not a factor for me as I will be doing about 7K a year so, I'll hit the three year time limit before 36k. However, I do think Toyota should fix this issue for those on OEM wheels and tires running the recommended air PSI. For those that run non-ohm wheel and larger tires, I...
I am also anxious to know for sure. I did a little research in February when the 4R was so new, no one had good info. I expected Tirerack to have information now but it's limited unless I change the wheels. Let me know what you find.
I checked the Toyota app for the settings page. I could not find it. Are you saying, that is in the Lexus app?
i would love to get to that page to control the notification.
I see your using the stock SR5 wheels, which I like. I did read that you cannot go with too big a tire because of the rim size. I think 7" was quoted. Many of the larger sizes and not recommended from a stability/safety standpoint. Did your tire installer comment on this?
I just checked...
I will try the Lexus app. I don't get an alert every timeI start the vehicle. I do get alerts that I left the doors unlocked, something in the back, etc. You should be able to designate a GPS location (home for example) that it will not alert you on stuff.
As for Wi-Fi and CarPlay (completely...
Following and in similar position. I did read somewhere that the SR5 wheel size has limitations on what tire size you can go with. Nothing to do with rubbing, more safety. I would like to go with 265 or275 with a primary goal of better road behavior over ruts and potholes. The theory being more...
I kept it on. It's a thing of beauty and has some function. With what seems the vast percentage of folk on here taking it off, those that did not will have a unique look.
I sincerely doubt Toyota put it on for purely looks. If it did not do something they thought was needed, they would not...
Update # 2
I believe the best method and that tge Chinese to instruction are trying to communicate are:
1) clean all vehicle surfaces that the new panels touch with alcohol.
2) Using a box cutter knife with newer blade, peel off the tape backing, red strips. I found a knife easier unless you...
Fitting fhe door sill protectors today. Probably worth emphasizing that the 8 little packets are a special adehsive primer and not just alcohol wipes. They are required to make the sticky strips actually stick.
I cleaned with alcohol (not beer) and the heated the existing plastic up. Then used...
The sun visor has the potential to cause the noise. The mirror door when closed and the slide out extender. Even the visor retainer, when pushed in is loose and can give a plastic on plastic noise. The headliner when presses gives all sorts of noise.
Not exactly a Lexus!
I too have been searching for a rattle or knock. Still looking but I keep finding areas that it could be. For example, the sun visor. The closing cover on the mirror seems like it would rattle. The extension plastic slide out bit the same. Lastly, when the visor is clipped into the retainer...
