Is this issue only on some 4R’s or are we saying its on all? My SR5 does not have the vibration described at 2000 miles. Should I be looking for it?
We never have folk in the back seat, is it detectable in front seats?
my SR5 was the first or second delivered to the dealer in late March. Is...
Show your flustration with your wallet and refuse to do business with them. I actually test call/contact businesses before I buy anything significant. If I get bad support or no contact, they don’t get my business. I typically share my negative experience too.
sadly, its more common but, they...
any issue with using the stock wheels on those 275's? I seem to remember reading that the width of the tire does not sadly support going too wide but I don't have the details. I too have the SR5 stock wheels. When my tires need replacing, I was hoping to go bigger, not for looks, not for...
Clearly having a replaceable battery is better than just a single sealed battery. One issue with these "off brands" is batteries. Both quality and availability. That is why many people stay with one known brand like Milwaukee, Bosch, Dewalt for all battery powered tools.
After 9 years running premium in a Ford Escape 2.0 Twin Turbo, I switched to 87 and got better gas mileage, consistently and repeatable. 9 years @18k a year wasted money :(
The scientific part of my brain agrees with the theory posted here. Very well written. I will be sticking with 87 which is an easy choice for me, I am not looking for small performance boosts or any performance boost, it has enough power stock for me. No impact on reliability so, I'll save money...
Try a search, it's posted in many places.

As for what oil is put in at the factory, I don't know and not sure anyone knows outside of Toyota.
Nothing needed to buy. Cartsta works with many vehicles. I contacted them to confirm the 4G ^th get was supported. They confirmed yes. So far, it's been useful. Ongoing, not sure. Might be good to grab error code.
My SR5 with the OEM wheels and tires is within 1 MPH when checked with a couple of GPS devices.
Although, I do intend on replacing the OME size with the 265/70/R17 when the current tires need replacing.
Do you get better on road compliance over pot holes and bumps with your 265's?
There is a...
I have just noticed tire squeal when doing a slow full lock turn in parking lots. 2k miles and have not noticed before. Does it on right and left turns. Full lock and close to full lock.
in 2WD.
SR5, standard wheels and tires. No lift or other mods.
I have and had a few new vehicles and don't...
I have not seen 85 here in Tennessee. Costco has two flavors available, 87 and 93. 93 is $0.65 a gallon more.
i can see your point on 85 and high altitude with a Turbo engine.
Search the forum you will see many postings reporting the common issues. Here are a few from memory:
Break Squeal
Transmission shifting clunky and unrefined
Pain issues
Air dam falling off
Vibration
Noise from inner door, speaker area
General oddities on the InfoTainment system
Throwing this out as a thought for comment. If the 4R is "tuned" to run on 87. When I say tuned, the ECU, ignition, timing, etc (using old terms). Would that mean that when using 93, the ECU would need to change the timing to deal with the fuel confusion differences?
Equally, if you put 87 in a...
