I noticed that the headlight beam does not project in a flat line, but instead has a bit of a jagged appearance. The right side of the beam is clearly higher than the left side, and there's some weird asymmetric ridges slightly left of center.

I’m not sure if this is some design quirk to look like mountains or something, or if the headlights are misaligned.

Do anyone else’s headlights look like this (basic non-TRD Pro headlights)?

toyota has stepped the headlights for a while now mostly on led's.

driver side is usually lower than right side but its only a slight step when you are at 25-50 ft from a wall.

our 23 tundra has the same stepping on the headlights.

i even stepped my 14 4runner led headlights when i replaced the oem halogen bulbs with some lasfits drop in replacements

i like the manual headlight levelling option in the new 4R. I get people flashing headlights at my 2021 all the time. The LEDs are really bright and possibly directed a tad too high, and most think the high beams are on. Being able to adjust down slightly in the 6th gen is a good option - if my 2025 ever arrives.

I am a big fan of this feature so far, the 4Runner had its headlights at the max height when I bought it, and I could tell it was blinding oncoming traffic. At first I thought it was a dial to adjust the screen brightness, but then I noticed my headlights moving up and down. Pretty fancy! Never had that feature in a car before.
