What’s up guys! Our first YouTube video just dropped, and we’re kicking things off with a full install overview of the upgraded bolt on turbo kit for the new-generation Toyota 2.4T engine.

For anyone on here interested in Toyota tuning, Toyota power upgrades, or 6th Gen 4Runner power upgrades, this video walks through the turbo install and gives you a closer look at what it takes to add serious performance to Toyota’s latest turbo platform.

This one was filmed with no rehearsals and no retakes, just going off memory during the install. I did misspeak on a few bolts, nuts, and small details, but you’ll still get the full gist of the process.

Looking for some updates, I would love to see the dash through the different settings to see how fast the turbo spools and just drivability. I know it’s not a massive swap in regards to a lot of other turbo swaps. I would love to see mpg on a tank of gas with turbo spooling up faster, getting to speed and going to Cruz mode, does it net gains on some MPG’s which would make sense to me. And see the drive ability with this power on tap. To be honest, I already expected a shit ton of videos showing all this so it was a no-brainer of a purchase and if I’ve missed them somehow please point me in the right direction.

I got mine in the mail and finally was able to get the new gaskets from Toyota. Make sure to change those. I will be installing mine this weekend due to the long weekend. All I am waiting for is sxth to send me my turbo inlet.

No doubt, I’m excited for you! There was a move that took place so it’s looking like it’s probably closer to 4 weeks opposed to 3. It’s definitely a fun mod.

We’re producing our own over at Big Dawgs Toyota Tuning. We’re going to test fit our model this weekend, and then move forward with production if it goes well.
