I have the Predator Steps that I had Toyota add at the Port. They don’t make any sense as far as foot placement when getting in especially in the back. I plan to remove and order Westcott Designs Rock Sliders! As soon as the lead time isn’t 3-4 weeks.

Hello, Just picked up a 2026 SR5. Love it.

I am looking for a set of OEM running boards, as seen in the pic below. Denver, CO area and can pick up. Holler if able to help out. Or, if anybody has found where can buy online, please let me know. Thank you.

I'd suggest check marketplace or your local FB groups. There is always someone selling their OEM side steps. Especially these.

The OEM fixed running boards are really nice
I like them better than the ovals, predators, and even the cast aluminum boards

The running boards that come standard on the Off Road supposedly do not fit the Sport Premium. I asked the parts person at a Toyota dealership and said those don't fit my 4runner. How is that possible?? The bodies are the same.

Remember that parts people at dealership have to ga based on Toyotas data and vin. They can’t be responsible for saying something will fit and have it not fit. So it Was not an option for your trim it will likely not show as fitting.

Makes sense.

If anyone is looking to sell their OEM running boards in the Chicago area let me know.

My Platinum came with fixed OEM running boards...didnt like them at first but they are growing on me for the step-in/out

. Like you, not interested in serious off-roading (rock sliding n such) but may venture on back roads a bit.
These look great! Do you know the part number? Are they grippy coated like the TRD ones or are they just slick metal? Also, great color choice, as I feel that was really the only color that looks good with the interior on the Platinum!

The OEM running boards are plastic. The top part isn’t “grippy” but you aren’t going to slip on them unless you shine them up. I don’t dislike mine at all and helps my 5’3” wife get in with the lift and bigger tires. I like that they keep chips down and can prevent dings in the parking lot. At some point I will upgrade to rock sliders but not until I retire in a few-ish years.

For those of you who have your 2025 4-Runners, I am interested in the quality and looks of the fixed running boards. I am getting an SR5 id it was not optioned with anything. I was going to get the Toyota running boards thinking the fit and install would be good. I am not planning any off-road use, maybe light trails at most. I did all my off-road driving in a jeep many years ago :)

Its primarily to assist shorter or older people getting into the SUV. If it does provide any protection to the lower side, that is a bonus. I am looking for quality, strong, nice finish and made in USA if possible. SO, please shoot me recommendations and opinions on the Toyota fixed running board.

Also looking at Toyota mudguards, all weather mats as Wethertech does not have anything for the 6th gen 4-runner yet.

I am getting the feeling the 4-runner after market accessory scene is hot, like it was for my jeep!
I don't know why some people don't like them or they replace them, but I really like the stock OEM running boards on my Off Road Premium.

Agreed. We really like our OEM ORP running boards. Very functional, even more so with a lift. They also protect the sides from flying debris, door dings, and runaway shopping carts at Wally World.
