Any issues with the auto windows and the in channel deflectors?

Ive. had them installed for three weeks and not one problem. Have had them on my other two vehicles for years with no issues.

Amazon is saying it won’t fit my 2026 4Runner, is that misinformation? Not a big cost and I‘m willing to try it.

Amazon gave the same warning when I bought them and I can confirm it fits just fine. You’ll have to trim off about 3 inches or so off the bottom but it fits otherwise.

Installed WeatherTech wind deflectors and the weatherstripping between the front and rear doors today. Took less than 15 minutes to do it all.

I had these on my 5th gen. Did you have any issues with the windows rolling up all the way? When I first installed my Weathertech deflectors on the 5th gen, my windows kept automatically rolling themselves back down as if the pressure sensor kept detecting someone's finger in there or something. Does everything work okay and do they scratch your window tint at all?

I've had Weathertech in track visors for about 10 months with no issues. The front set have no tape to hold them in. I notice once in a while a little rattle noise but it's minor. They come in a black matte finish which matches the trim on my ORP. Also, they are good quality.

Nope. Tested them quite a bit yesterday and no issues at all.

When they were first installed, or throughout your ownership? Or did you remove them because you never got the windows up? The instructions with mine said roll up the windows and leave them up for at least 48 hours after installation. I assume that's to set the adhesive (where present) or form the deflector and seal to eliminate or at least minimize issues.

I installed them and then tried to roll up my windows, but they kept rolling themselves back down as soon as they felt the tension/pressure from the newly installed deflectors. I don't know why, but after about 20 minutes of trying to get my windows to go all the way up, they finally did and I never had any issues since then. It was bizarre.

I had the same exact issue on my F150 FX4 when I did in channels years ago, so thats what prompted me to ask.

So they never went up and you removed them? Or did it eventually work? I too would be wary given your experience, but they are in the way of the window track so maybe some issues can be expected initially. I had none on any of my vehicles, except I added a little square of tape on one deflector on one of my vehicle years ago.

I had to "reprogram" the auto function (found a way online involving ignition, holding buttons, etc.).
It worked, but they were never really settled if that makes sense. They always clicked, or would bind up, so I ended up removing them.
Still interested in these for my 4R though since several here have had no issues.

Oh wow, I get your hesitance. I'd recommend not using the auto up function and jog them closed, if necessary. I've trapped things in a window (on purpose) doing that. Then, let them sit the 48 hours and I bet you have no issues, if you have any.

Got the 5,000 mile service this morning. Nothing special happened other than the Service guy said my air filters were pretty dirty. Cabin and engine. Amazon to the rescue. Suprising that at that low mileage they'd want me to replace them.

This is from CA Tuned Off Road. Easy install, and even though it has recovery points welded on, they were too small for a decent soft shackle. So I mounted my older red ones as well. I like the flush fit. This is not a bull bar made out of tin. This is thick powder coated steel that will take some abuse. Note: This is not a Ranch Bumper or Push Bar like police cars have. It is a light bar or brush bar with added protection.
