Also keep in mind that they can 100% deny any warranty claim on anything from the engine all the way down the drivetrain to the differentials for a tune because it causes the engine to operate outside of design specifications and that could cause a failure.

You could try to sue them...But 1-You will likely be forced to go to arbitration first and 2-The attorney fees for you will be far more than your failure costs and a rounding error to them.

Not saying that the tune will cause a failure (tunes can absolutely grenade engines/hard parts), or that it will be denied...But if you're concerned about it, go into it with open eyes.

I don't know about Toyota, but GM and Ford absolutely check for tunes and will deny claims instantly. Even if you flash it back to stock...They check to see when the last time it was accessed was...If it wasn't documented service...*BOOP* denied.

They can also deny drivetrain warranty for lifts, larger wheels and tires, etc.

Could they void a warranty for dissecting electrical components? With the complexity of electrical and CAN Bus operated components, I’d think it would be a slam dunk for them
