I already had the Beat Sonic 3T3 booster, but finally did the Alpine Speaker upgrade for my NON-JBL SR5. Man what a different system it is now! Really pleased with the results. I am not an audiophile by any stretch. I adjusted my gains on my 3T3 by ear, because the 3T3 is taped down and in place, so I had to reach back and turn the gain buttons by feel, because obviously cannot see them. 40 is about as high as I can turn the system up now before it gets too loud for my ears. It is much cleaner sound as well. Between the two it was about $850 but a huge difference is volume and sound quality from those cheap stock speakers. The weight of the speaker change alone will probably decrease my gas mileage! JK, but the cheap stock speakers felt like a feathers compared to the Alpines. I recommend the combo highly if you do not want to spend a mint for better sound.
