Sharing an update that came sooner than I'd planned! I installed skid plates yesterday and despite being told that my flat black TRD wheels on order were backordered, it turned out they had them after all and had those and some Wildpeak AT4W's installed today and all is right in the world. I know many opt to size up, but I actually love the stock 265/70 R18 size for all of my purposes, so stuck with that. And as an added bonus, my new hitch rack (RockyMounts Guiderail) showed up this evening as well and it's incredibly nice!

Great story! I am coming from a Subaru Outback Wilderness and towed a similar sized square drop. About ~1500 dry, but it’s tongue heavy as it has a slide out kitchen up front. Do you get any squat in back when towing?

Nice! Our teardrop’s tongue weight is proportional to its overall weight so that was never an issue for me. On the ORP I definitely don’t get any squat and it’s as if there’s nothing back there while towing!
