Color matched (painted) license plate frame to Mudbath color

Painted my black rear license plate frame the color of my TRD Pro, "Mudbath." Sanded it down, primed it, and sprayed it with Mudbath Color spray paint. Let it dry on my stove for 5 days and installed today.

No, I don't think it would work out. The paint was $40 and I had the primer on hand and the plate frame. By the time I bought a frame, primer,paint, labor and shipping it would probably be over $100. I don't think anyone wants to pay that for a plate frame.

I'm really not into it. I was actually going to take it off after picking it up from the dealership. But my wife fell in love with it and said don't you dare take it off. So, I'm living with it for a while. LOL It's on the bottom of all the doors and two sections of the hood too.

What license plate frame did you use? Can you share a link?

I had the plate frame for about 5 or 6 years now. I think I purchased it at Advanced Auto Parts.

Yeah, I thought so too but the state police said as long as we can read everything. The only thing they said was an issue was the plate covering over georgia letters. Then one of the George officers who has a mud bath he already asked for the link so he can get his plate done.
