In this video, we install our 2025+ Toyota 4Runner Alpine 8 or 12 Speaker Plug & Play Upgrade Bundle in a 2025 4Runner. This bundle is designed to fit all 2025+ 4Runners and is available with either 8" or 6x9" front door speaker packages. Product page links are below!

For reference, 2025+ JBL amplified 4Runners come equipped with 12 speakers (excluding the removable center speaker and subwoofer), while non-amplified base audio models include 8 speakers.

I will be doing this.

Going to have to watch this video when I get off work. Makes me wonder where all the speakers are, and which of the 14 they are not replacing. Also curious as to how much this would improve audio quality for JBL systems that already had the Beat Sonic amp installed.

The 2025 4runner with the JBL system has 12 speakers not including the subwoofer and non jbl has 8 speakers. Watch the video and you will see the crap speakers they come with it. With the beatsonic amp it will sound great.

I guess they are including that removable JBL speaker in the "14 speaker" system.

Read my mind, Alpines and beat sonic should improve the sound immensely

No that does not change.
Sorry that wasn't what I meant. What I meant was that Toyota was including the removeable speaker as part of their "14 speaker sound system"

Oh lol. The removable speaker and the subwoofer make 14 in total.

So I reached out to Trail Grid about this kit and they actually recommend installing the Beat Sonic amp to allow the Alpine speakers to reach their full potential.
Thanks for that info.

I installed the beat sonic the first week of April in my Pro!, they are worth it. Honestly it’s one of the five early quick and easy upgrades imo they are , red line struts, beat sonic amp, ceramic Tint ,and some fender flares as the front wheels throw everything. And last but not least Lasfit or upgraded floor mats.

Still waiting for the line level modular adapters to come out so I can pull out every speaker and add quality amplifiers and a sub. Focal speakers are what I'm aiming for, just as long as I get that JBL junk out of there and that pitiful subwoofer.

If you have to keep warning about how careful to be with the fragile acrylic adapters, then maybe don't make that part from cut acrylic sheet.
