I am going aftermarket sliders. With that said I took off the OEM steps and in person especially it made the truck clearance look so much better.

Are you willing to part with the factory bolts? I just picked up a set of the fixed running boards and it didn’t have the factory bolts with it. I haven’t gotten my 4Runner yet and I don’t know if they have the bolts installed if the running boards are not an option for my vehicle

I bought this one directly from Toyota, it marks “ 4Runner “ on the boards Took less than 10 minutes to put that on.

Did those come with the mounting bolts or were the bolts already in the mounting holes?

Looking for the mounting bolts for the fixed running boards. Either a part number or if anyone is interested selling their bolts.

yes. There is set of new 12 bolt included. Abut anyway Your 4Runner already has bolts on all those mounting holes for the step bar, I just reused them that originally on the car.

Metal Tech 4x4 makes a quality frame mounted rock slider that I installed on my 2023 Bronco. I haven’t seen a slider for the new 4runner as of yet.
Amp Research makes nice powered running boards and rock sliders. Nothing listed for the 6Gen 4Runner either.

Question on those who have done their own installs - through the generosity of a local member, I have OEM boards from Off Road. I have a Sport. He also gave me 15mm bolts. The boats on the install points are 12mm. Does that make sense?

Mine are Toyota OEM. I plan to change mine out here at some point to rock sliders.

Do these mount to the frame or the body? It looks like from the photos they mount to the body like the tube steps. Thinking of replacing the factory installed steps.
