Interior passenger vent not flush

Not sure if this is how it’s supposed to fit together but my passenger side vent has a small gap where two dashboard halves meet up:

Same here. Looks like crappy design on the panel and not an assembly issue. I guess they are going for the Kia quality now to save money and charge more.

The driver side seems normal. Different design, fits and flush.
