Rear passenger side tool compartment won't close

Anyone else having this issue where the rear tool compartment cover (passenger side on an ORP) won't close on one side? Even with nothing in the compartment it still will pop out on its own on the left side. If you hit the bad fitting side with your palm it will close for an instant but then pops out. It's like it was a single-use cover that fit once from the factory.

Now, granted, if this is the worst problem I ever have, I'd be a happy camper, but I'm just wondering if it's a bad batch of covers and most others do this too, or if I have a one-off issue.

PS: if you check yours, please pull the cover off and re-install it to see if it seats.

It’s not an unreasonable expectation for the cover to fit consistently tight. Have you taken it back to the dealer?
