you will have a 20% lifetime increase compared to just rotating 4 tires.
Am I reading this wrong or is the image only showing the rotation of the spare into the passenger a side of tires? They don’t cross to the drivers side at all

Correct - I've seen some people recommend crossing regardless of what the manual says though. I don't have enough experience to have an opinion here.

It make sense since they are all full time 4WD vehicles. Having your spare sit without use is a waste of money, since it will expire after a certain amount of time anyway regardless of whether you use it or not. Having it rotated in effectively means that you will have a 20% lifetime increase compared to just rotating 4 tires.
It's kinda weird to be recommending splitting the tires like they are directional. Most guides I have seen rotate all 5 through all positions. Are the stock tires crossclimate 2s or what

For what it's worth, this is from the Nissan Armada manual. Not only are they recommending the same directional rotation, but they don't even rotate the spare with them (the Armada is part time 4WD).

Looks like Toyota changed it to have a full-size spare tire. Last time I saw it, it didn't have a checked marked on it. Can anyone confirm?

the reason is you dont rotate the spare, you end up having to remember which side the vehicle it was used on when you rotate spare tire back into rotation and can only use the spare on one side of the vehicle.

plus you lopsided the one side vs the other side.

I found out recently that the spare on the Armada is not full size - similar situation to the 4Runner Limited.

Does anyone have an actual picture underneath their Limited, as to whether it's the SR5 donut or a full size spare? I don't think I've seen a picture or video yet anywhere, just website specs

Oh, so it's an actual spare then. Nice.

Not the same size but I think I would consider that pretty much "full size", diameter is correct and it's not a donut. If it was 265/55R20 then that would have to be an actual 20" wheel, thus probably the same wheel, thus more "matching spare"

Also, idiot me forgot I already posted in here lol
