I bought Thule EVO cross bars when REI had their 20% off and the feet from Thule using their veterans discount ended up about $75 cheaper than the Toyota bars and quieter.

I am considering that exact crossbar combo for mine. Any chance you can give different angle/closer pics of them? Most interested to see how inside attachment point looks with those specific feet

Thanks in advance!

Not on my 4runner. But I have brought crossbar from Amazon before. My advice, if you are going to use it for mounting roof rack or something, don't go cheap. I did bought one for my highlander and it came off without anything mounted on it. Just basing it on my experience. You might have better luck.

This looks pretty nice. Are those the Thule Evo Wingbars as well? The two complaints I see listed on the reviews are whistling noise and the rubber strips across the top coming loose. Have you expereienced any of that?

This looks great. The two complaints I see often on the reviews are whistling noise and the rubber strips across the top coming loose. Have you expereienced any of that?

I think they are aero blades which are the version before the wingbars? I've had them for probably 8 years now on multiple vehicles. I've never had issues with the rubber strips but definitely wind noise on certain vehicles. No wind noise on the 4runner though.

One thing to mention though is that I have the longest bars you can get and the slots that attach to the feet are too short. I have a machine shop at work so I just milled out the slots to make them longer but this might be an issue for others.
