I’m looking at a set of wheels and tires that are 285/70R17. Just worried about rubbing since they are 33” instead of the stock 31.5”. Has anyone switched their tires yet and had any issues?

Other owners have run 33's no problem on stock TRD Sport:

Upgraded to 33's tires 285/60r20 on my TRD Sport factory wheels (Mickey Thompson Baja Boss) - by @samuelvelas

I am running 33’s but on a 0 Offset and I went with a 2.5 collar lift in front. I still rub a little bit in reverse full turn of the wheel. So watch your offsets

I'm running 275/70/R18 BFG KO3s. +20 offset. They rub just a tiny bit without the mud guard delete. I modified my mud guards to make it work, I have about a finger width between the tread and inside fender when turning.

We started getting a little rub when full lock in reverse even with the collar lift. Nothing major but I felt it the other day. Its mostly due to my offset being zero.
If you dont want any rubbing I would try to keep the offset on the positive side for sure.
