Those front brackets are under a lot of tension. It’s a little tricky on the reinstall. The passenger side is heavy and cumbersome. I wasn’t worried about scratching the upholstery. It was the door getting scratched by the front seat brackets. It’s a tight fit

Nope! When I had the back seats flipped up, I noticed there was a warning light on the dash. Haven’t seen it again since removing the seats.
Excellent, now I’ll be able to see the temp outside when I have my dog in the backseats withouT having to wait 5 minutes.

Yea, it was a lot easier to manage removal of the 40 side. For the 60, I contemplated laying it flat onto a blanket and pulling it out the rear hatch, but ultimately did ok with removing it via the door. If I reinstall the seats, I’ll likely get a helper and maneuver the seat in from rear.
