well it looks like my platinum only bad spot is the overlap test, rest is G or A for the headlights.

just tell the old folks to not drive at night, problem solved

doesnt matter, everyone else will be driving with poorly aimed or mis-adjusted head lights anyway, so they will think you are just another a$$hole with bright lights.

thats why i no longer drive cross country to see my mom during night time. i only drive from sun up to sun down and call it a night.

I haven't been flashed (yet) if it happens I'll just dial it down to 3 maybe, and dial it back up when I don't have oncoming traffic.

Wow, they really did drop features on the newer model. On my old 4Runner I just push the turn signal stalk forward when I don't have oncoming traffic

looking at the test results, oncoming is fine, no problems
it is side glare (cornering) where it gets poor rating

I can see why, the beam is noticeably wider...they didn't
shroud the projector very well on the single lens version SR5 has

i have noticed the low beam lights up the sides better than the high beams. i rarely use high beams in my daily drive to work (am on the road at 5am) and eventually during winter i will be using headlights going home at 430pm

from my perspective, the 25 platinum headlights are way better than my 2014 limited low or high beam.

worse case is sunrise is the latest at 835am and sunset will be earliest at 450pm

Overlap test is concerning; would it be a result of body on frame? Lots of mid-size suv with G rating.

I was afraid the front overlap would be not so good with this vehicle. The Tacoma doesn’t do well and the front of the 4Runner is almost identical to the Tacoma so I guess no real surprise there.

they will probably do the same thing they did with the f150 when it failed crash tests.

add a deflecting bar to the frame to help with overlap testing.

The head on crash was good. You should see what happens to a Bronco head on the front passenger section is destroyed.
