Would replacement of hood prop null warranty?

I just installed those redlines about two weeks ago. Work great. With respect to getting them on Amazon for less, my view on that stuff is if they break I want a company standing behind them. You don’t always really know who is selling you what on Amazon. That’s just me. Nothing wrong going that route.

Installed Redline Tuning Hood Struts purchased from Cali Raised LED. Quick shipping, arrived packed well in a stout shipping tube to prevent damage.

Easy quick install. I did notch out the plastic flap behind the lower brackets. This allows the bracket to sit tight against the metal panel. See pics below.

These struts are tuned to work smoothly and make lifting the hood near effortless. While closing, they provide just the right amount of over center action to make sure the hood closes without slamming.

We may never know why hood struts are not standard on our $60K+ vehicles. But it's nice to have a quality aftermarket solution.

That looks just like my '26 Wind Chill Pearl Limited Hybrid! Amazon delivered those same supports yesterday. Are you happy so far? I also installed the fitted "plugs" for those fender vents. I got tired of muddy water, etc. drooling out onto the fender.
