Will the Stock Emergency Jack Work With 285/70R17 Tires?

I think we're talking right past each other. My point from the beginning is you can not go by the listed "285/70/18" or "295/70/18" or whatever is listed on your side wall. You have to look at the size of the individual tire your purchasing .

Yes there is a variance from brand to brand, typically up to 0.3 inches in same sized tires, you're correct there, but not by an inch like your example with different rim sizes.

Back to the actual point of this thread; Yes OP, your jack should work since the size you've installed on your truck is very similar to TRD Pro, Trail Hunter and TRD Off-road. The only possible issue could be if Toyota crapped out on the jack with a smaller one on the SR5 like they did with the spare.
