Ok I want to be very careful how I word this because a) my intent is not to disparage anyone and b) my guess is the answer to the question is my own ignorance which I fully embrace

I am by no stretch of the imagination any kind of expert on 4Runner modding. In fact I will place myself firmly in the amatuer category. That being said over the years of researching aftermarket products for a couple of gens of 4Runners I've run across many of the familiar names. CBI, C4, Rago, Cali Raised, RCI. I know I'm leaving some out and that doesn't even count some of the bigger players that are more product specific like Baja, Rigid, ARB, Gobi, 23Zero, King, EMU (and more on the suspension front) etc and I know I'm missing some. Recently in searching products for the 6th gen I've seen a lot of Westcott design and its not a name I am familiar with.

Again I want to tread super light, not offend anyone and happily accept replies from the manufacturer. Is Westcott a newer player or longtime in the game and I just missed? I only ask because I'm seeing their name everywhere. It looks like they have lots of 5th gen products but I never ran across them previously and only came to my attention when searching for 6th gen products.

And again specifically to Westcott Designs. i don't know if you watch these forums or are maybe even a contributing sponsor. Please nothing in this post should be taken as disparaging. You are just a vendor I'm not familiar with that seems to have rose to super prominence and I'm trying to get a better handle on your product. Again a perfectly acceptable answer is you're a primo manufacturer that my dumb ass missed. and if so I look forward to trying some of your products

Hopefully that was diplomatic enough. People have told me I can come of as too direct and abrasive, lol

Westcott had been around for a long time. They’re a family owned business. Jeff Westcott stands behind his product. I’ve purchased several of their products over the years and went with his rock sliders on my 6th gen Pro, along with his lift and ditch light brackets. His welds and attention to detail are legit. They just have longer lead times for the 6th gen right now.

Also fun fact, Toyota Corp has partnered with him in the past on a few projects and continues to do so on certain things.

Don’t be afraid to order WD products. Cheers.

Have sliders on order right now and talked to them on Friday to check up on progress. Their orders are behind right now due to the high temps in Arizona. Said the curing process for the powder coat is taking forever to cool properly.

Waiting anxiously....

I'm rocking their level kit, only 3k miles in with them. As of right now I have zero complaints. Rides real close to OEM. Feels great so far.

Their customer service is actually really helpful as well. They're straight forward and pretty quick with answering your questions and don't give you the typical responses like other CS companies that give you those dry typical responses you'd expect.

Westcott makes some pretty good products. It's a domestic company that works within a small range of vehicles. No massive manufacturing and engineering facilities, small support staff, and works within a niche market.

Nothing wrong with any of that.

King, Rigid, ARB, Baja Designs are all companies that have a very focused product line that spans a very wide array of vehicles and for that, they are VERY good at what they do. You just won't buy rock sliders from a company like King or Baja. For that, you go to someone like Westcott.
