Got around 700 miles on my sport premium and this is my first 4Runner. I had a 2021 x5 m package fully loaded and the 4Runner is a long shot in comparison to ride quality but I knew that from the start. I test drove the SR5 first to compare. The 4Runner sport suspension is stiffer than other trims and I noticed it when I took the 4Runner for a light off-road ride. It was pretty jarring. On the street it’s fine, no dipping and corners well for its height. The arm rest is padded. The hood is pretty light weight and vibrates a tad when on the freeway/trails but nothing bad.

I am a new owner of trd sport premium only 1300miles almost 2months and there’s a lot of problems on this car specially the soft but notice clunk or knock noise not often but most of the time I turn my steering wheel left and right, dealer change the clock spring but noise still there I came back to dealer they investigate and said it’s a normal characteristic I’m so disappointed.they can’t fix the noise.
.is there anyone have the same noise on their steering wheel?

I never owned a 5th gen but have rented and driven several of them thousands of collective miles on and off road (Limited, TD Pro, ORP). I really don't get the snark from 5th Gen purists about the 6th Gen interior being plastic-y. Could it be cushier? Sure. As someone with bony-ass elbows, I definitely wouldn't complain if my ~$60k truck had somewhat comfier armrests.

But it is absolutely not objectively worse than the 5th Gens were, including the Limited. At best, it's a side-grade. And pretty much everything else about the 6th Gen (ride quality, steering, interior design, seat comfort, tech, engine power, road noise, brake dip, etc.) is far superior.
