So, this happened on Monday morning on my Trailhunter.
I took it to the dealer. Two hours later, they said that it was a bad oxygen sensor.
I asked the service manager why all those errors appeared and he said that Toyotas are funky. When one thing throws an error, other subsystems join the party.

It is possible that it was just that sensor and it tossed even more codes.
The service manager was wrong. It's not only Toyota's that have codes that join the party it's every vehicle. To answer your question, yes it's possible for one componet or fault to throw mulitple codes. When codes set it's usually because of a condition that is out of range and usually for a certain amount of time. So, to give you an example, I hope you can understand, would be if your engine experienced an extremly rich fuel mixture (too much gasoline) and the job of your oxygen sensor is to monitor your fuel mixture, you would get an engine light on, and a code that reads your oxygen sensor is reading out of range, but it's because of a rich fuel mixture. So you would have the oxygen sensor code and a rich fuel mixture code, 2 codes. But only one problem the culprit which is the rich mixture causing both codes. Fix the rich mixture problem and then the oxygen sensor will be operating in its correct range and both codes will go away. So often the oxygen sensor gets replaced and it wasn't bad, it was the rich mixture causing the the oxygen sensor code and rich mixture code. Hope this makes sense.

I had the same problem at ~ 500 miles.
It was the air/fuel ratio sensor (there are two sensors in the exhaust by the engine one is the air/fuel ratio the other is O2).
My problem was there were none in the States with no ETA.
I think I was out of the car for 10 days waiting for a part delivery date. Total BS on Toyota.
Same dash warning as yours.

I just got hit with this on Saturday and have an oil change at the dealer later today. I'm almost certain it is a sensor.

a failed sensor will cause lots of errors to pop up.
Toyota told me the list could expand if you keep driving.
If it is the fuel/O2 ratio sensor the engine will at whacky at times. Stuttering at low speeds and during shifting was a characteristic of my failure.
You probably do not want to drive it if it is the ratio sensor.

the danger of driving with air fuel sensor code would
be if it runs extremely lean (and you'd really notice high mpgs)

lean running creates excessive heat which can go so far as melt
valves and pistons...if it runs rich who cares, when that problem
is solved you only need some carbon cleanup maybe...but running
lean is the worse circumstance of bad air fuel sensor readings

the air/fuel sensor checks fuel burn, if lean, rich, or stochiometric,
and it's readings directly control fuel injected into the cylinders

the O2 sensor only checks how well the catalytic converter runs and doesn't
control any engine or fuel management

I had the same errors on my TH with 95 miles. Dealer basically cleared the codes, checked transmission solenoid operation, and handed it back… not very satisfying.
It’s not great if this set of errors is triggered by many conditions

just an update today after the dealer. I kid you not when the tech went to start the car they were gone.

He told me that sometimes there are bugs/glitches and with these newer cars if it is flipped over/driven a few times and the system doesn’t believe there is a true error it will reset on its own. (Take that as you will)

For context, these codes came on when I was doing 85 back home. Car didn’t jolt or make an audible noise. Just lit up my dash. Pulled off and let it sit for a bit then took it slow. No issues or anything wrong that I could feel/hear. I kept an eye on the battery, engine temp, and sloppy shifts.

I do have a tune and intake but those have been on for months. Ive also put it through the wringer a bit off roading but still no issues.

all in all, maybe I just got lucky or maybe there are truly some finicky bugs. Im leaning the ladder.

lol i had this happen in my 2014 4R. one random day i was doing 75mph from base during the summer and the vehicle just up and died. completely shut off. had to pull over on the shoulder, put it into park and go thru the standard push to start and the vehicle started right up with no warnings or CEL or anything. drove it and all was fine.

never happened again in the 12 yrs i owned the thing.

also the LCD display for hvac one winter it showed like it was cracked or the lcd display had frozen and the crystals had degraded. it developed a pattern across the whole display. took about a year but eventually it completely went away and never came back.
