Does anyone know if the 6th gen has a weather map like the 5th gen had ? It was really cool, had radar and worked in most places even without cell service.
Im hoping it has it and I just can't find it.

How did it get access to internet if you're not in cell service area for accurate update?

Your 5th Gen must has access to the internet, that u paid for.

These days, there's million of apps that can do the same along with Starlink satellite internet.

on the 5th gen, the headunit pulled weather via radio station RDS sideband

i think you had to have jbl headunit with HD radio to pull the weather data from the radio station RDS

i rarely used it in my 14 limited, but it was a cute feature

ND dot has an app to give you road conditions, closures, surface coatings, and camera views, so i use that more than the other features
