Visibility Issue created by Hood Scoop on TRD Sport

Thanks guys, I don't need to drive the ORP, I am getting the Sport. I don't go off-roading and all those off-roading gizmos are not something I need or want to pay for. I simply wanted someone to post a pic of the view. I can wait and see for myself, I will be taking delivery of my TRD Sport Premium soon. Again, I think it's funny when others start repeating things that sound kind of ridiculous to begin with.

Anybody getting an Underground color and doesn't like their hood scoop, hit me up and I'll swap you hoods. I wish the ORP had one. I like the looks of it and visibility issues don't bother me, they'll get out of my way or get run over lol.

most issues i have seen with the hood scoop is the sun glare late evening/early mornings from the low angle of the sun.

they use to make a matte black overlay for the older taco's that resolved this

The scoop is not really an obstruction for me. The only thing I noticed about the hood and the scoop on my new 2025 4Runner TRD Pro is the hood vibrates while driving. To me it's really annoying and is a distraction, not to mention it's kind of a let down knowing that I just paid $71,000 for it. I'm not sure if that portion of the hood is not structurly supported or it's just thin cheap metal. Probably just thin cheap metal if I had to guess. Secondly, I hate the fact that the hood scoop is not functional. It's fake! But I should be used to it coming from a 2026 Toyota GR Supra with 8 fake vents on it.

See if you can trade hoods with a TRD Off-Road it didn’t have a hood scoop.
