Update: Dealership says they found nothing out of the ordinary. They were unable to duplicate the issue and fluid levels look good. It has been documented though which is important in case it happens again.
Ya I always let it warm up before driving. We will see what the dealership says today. I'm sure they will say they couldn't find anything but I want it documented. And if it does it again I will take it in every damn time. A brand new vehicle should not be having transmission slip.
Taking off from a stoplight today and the transmission slipped really bad. felt like it missed 2nd or 3rd gear. Had my foot on the gas so it revved up a little bit, when the gear finally caught, it was pretty violent. HARD LOUD CLUNK! Taking it to the dealer today to have it looked at.

I'll have mine paid off in a few weeks, I like your style, I may just do the same. After letting her drive it a few times, she's getting a little too comfortable in it for my liking. ?
Aww man! I can't wait to try this after work. Mine hasn't been working (except the steering wheel position). I was thinking I was going to have to take it into the dealership. It's been soo annoying trying to get the seat back to just where I like it after the Wifey drives it. She leaves that...
Man, now you have me going down the compressor rabbit hole. Looks like that compressor is about $350 for the kit (if I'm looking at the right one on ARB website). And I can make a mount for that spot easy enough. I don't have access to that good of a 3D printer but I have a plasma table and a...
Ya, you sometimes have to be careful with MMC. some items on there are outrageously priced and you can source it locally for much cheaper. But for the most part, the little extra cost is worth the one stop shop and delivery time experience.
Looking great! Nice finishes and attention to detail. You mentioned you had a hard time finding piano hinges. McMaster-Carr is a great site for all kinds of random hardware (or anything) etc. And their delivery times are impressive. Usually next day on most items.
Wow. That's an insane shipping cost. I ship full semi loads with 20,000 lbs of steel cross states all the time and our shipping companies charge me under $1,000. $375 for a couple rock sliders seems crazy inflated.
I was checking out those Pack Racks. A descent option, they have an SUV version that would fit pretty well but would need the legs extended. I almost pulled the trigger on that platform but I'm still on the fence on whether or not I will just fabricate my own custom platform out of aluminum...
The setup is coming along nicely. Give a wave on your way in to Portland. I'm not far off of I-84 in Troutdale. Perhaps we will see each other out in the wild someday. Hopefully this spring rain finishes up soon so we can really get ourselves up the mountain for some fun!
I put the Mickey Thompson 285/65/18 E load rating tires on mine. The road noise difference was not even noticeable. It has a slightly rougher ride but very minor difference. any upgraded C load rating in my opinion would have basically no difference in ride comfort.
