I just bought my 2026 4Runner and trying to figure out what mods I want to put on. I don’t rock crawl. I do very light off Roading so I don’t need rock rails, and I don’t like the looks of running boards. so I decided to go old school and put Nerf bars on. I’ve had Nerf bars on my 2006 Tacoma for 20 years now and they work out great and they look good. I need them just to be able to step up and wash the roof of my vehicle plus it’s also good to maybe catch some of the car doors opening up. Maybe they’ll hit the Nerf bars instead. i did not do an install video because the directions are so easy a 10-year-old could put these things on. I had them on and probably 15 to 20 minutes. They are made very well. The hardware is very good and it only cost $200 bucks so what the heck it looks good and they’re functional. I’ll show a couple pictures of them.

I had never heard of those and imagined squishy fluorescent running boards :). Those do look pretty nice. and quite inexpensive indeed (especially considering the insane prices I see on so many accessories!). I am fine with the stock running boards and they work very well, but these are nice looking too.

I’ve heard that brand tells to have issues with rust as I know someone that got some and they ended up getting something else.

They seem to have a good warranty and I think they are made here in the United States, Southern California. I think they’re made in corona so they’re not coming from China. I think they’re good Buy.

Not that it really matters as far as build quality goes, but they are a parts supplier that happens to be located in Corona CA, but they are not a manufacturer. They are most definitely made in China but shipped out of their Corona warehouse.

In Riverside and LA, there are a ton of these suppliers who design the stuff in-house, then get them manufactured overseas.

Again, absolutely nothing wrong with that (I mean, its 99% of what the company's in the US do, including Apple's careful usage of their "Designed in California" language).

I worked with a company out of the City of Industry in LA, where they used my car for measurements and scans, and the process is actually pretty cool. Those steps would be 3x the cost if made in the US.
