Does anyone know if the TRD air intake from the TRD PRO would fit a non-hybrid. Toyota’s parts ordering system indicates no. I can’t imagine it would not fit though. Any insights or info to share?

Looking at this portion of the engine bay, it seems identical

I've heard that the Pro is difficult to upgrade to another performance intake box due to its mass air flow sensor. Anyone in the aftermarket says the TRD intake is crap. I wouldn't expect them to say anything contrary. The Pro intake has an intake through the side fender like the SXTH and Banks CAI. Where they use Cyclonic filters, the Pro intake still uses the drop in flat unit. I would think you would increase flow by using the latter

Took the plunge and ordered the kit from Toyota. With the Black Friday sale I can pick it up at the dealer for around $340. More to come

Do cold air intakes really do anything when it comes to performance?
If SXTH air states dyno testing of +14 Hp and Torque and K&N state +18 HP and Increased torque, I can’t imagine TRD would offer it as an option for the TRD Pro without some kind of gain. The design is basically the same
