Didn’t have any problems with the my 4runner putting it back, snapped back into place without any issues.
Hey, more reasons to drink beer, right? 😁
Also, you might want to get the light bar bracket from Raveoffroad. Helps in mounting the light bar easily. Cheers! 🍻

Great minds think alike, yes I did the same Rave brackets on mine, actually that was the only hold up in shipping I had. I think my issues were around the assembly being slightly and mean slightly to the driver's side, the pass side didn't want to snap in.

Just some note for the RC light bar. I tried 20inch RC DRL light bar, but end up returning it. It was about 1/4 inch too long to fit into the Grill and the Rave universal bracket was too short for it. Also the DRL version of the RC requires a different power setup, a 3 position switch instead of on/off.

I just ordered the rave universal bracket and rough country light bar. I’m assuming the three position switch is just to keep the backlight and primary separated at the switch. When I ran rough country lights a few builds ago I never had an issue tying the backlight into my DRLs with the primary on a standard switch.

Not blaming Rave but I don’t think they should advertise the rough country bar as fitting without modifications. Maybe it’s the same for other bars, but side mounting stubs stick out beyond the oem front grill space, meaning you have to have it set back 1/4” or so. I ended up notching mine but it’s not perfect and driving my OCD a little nuts. I’m also spoiled coming from some diode dynamic MAX stuff… so there’s that. I ended up using two sets of rough country fogs to replace the oem fog lights. I 3D printed a bracket, might not be the best but I think it turns out great. Whites run on the factory fog switch with the yellows tied into Aux 2 on the OEM switches I added.

Did you ever get yours? I have not been happy with my Rave experience this time. The rough country light bar is too wide to be advertised as fitting in my opinion. Their bracket also sticks out beyond the grill light bar cut-off. Not happy either way, I would have gone a different route. Now they've told me it "does not need to sit flush" and that I'm out of luck. My rough country light bar also had a ton of moisture in it already too. Hard to recommend either at this point.

Rc bar doesn't fit minor cutting is required on the left and right sides for it to fit properly. I haven't done the cutting yet. The bracket sticks out too much for the wiring for the radar sensor to be long enough. My rc light bar is okay but I purchased it on my own. I will end up cutting the sides for it fit better at some point .

Those bronze letters with the white look so freaking good. Any experience with moisture in your bar? Talked to rough country today and they said there is a breather screw I need to loosen, run them for 30 mins or so, then re tighten to address.

I ended up trying to notch my grille today to get it flush. Turned out okay. Sad to tear into a perfectly good OEM grille but at least it’s the cheaper of the two.

I have no issues with moisture in the light bar yet lol. Car stays in my garage and we get our first bit of rain in so cal tomorrow. So I'll report in a couple of days if does. I will dermal out the sides for it to fit better at some point. Mines currently mounted like urs.
With it mounted like that it puts pressure on the plastic which causes it to bow out from the middle of the light bar. I don't feel too bad as it was like 60 bucks on sale. I paid way more for the bracket to hold the light bar 😂
