I have a 25’Limited and it came with out a TPM in the spare tire(it’s not a full size spare).

Should it have come with one?

Am I the only one with this problem?

Normal. My Sport's spare doesn't have TPMS either.

Just check it manually or fill it max specs. I upgraded the spare tire to larger size (255/80/17) & now it's considered a "full size" (33") to match my main set.

I’d be surprised if any of the spares have a sensor. Aren’t most tpm systems configured to specify the location of each wheel on the vehicle?

Our '25 has one in the spare, I know this as it's lit up right now for the spare location, crazy thing is it shows 42psi, I'm not sure what it turns off at.

Yes. Vehicles have sensor receivers in each wheel well to determine position or use other means of determining position and proximity. My Trailhunter has a full size spare tire on a bronze wheel with a TPMS sensor inside that is depicted as a tire under the vehicle on the MID.

It's probably stored in the TPMS at 52 psi. Just reset the tires to their current pressures and it will go away. Or adjust them first as desired and then set them to current. I have all five of mine set to 34 psi.

from what i have gathered from posts and from my 2 vehicles they usually ship from the factory in the mid 40s and are set in the tpms display at that psi.

so i would reset it to a lower psi within tpms since when you rotate it in, and you lower the psi of the rotated in spare, it will throw a warning since it will be lower than the factory psi setting for that wheel.

i am guessing since they bump the psi during shipment via RORO they jack all the psi of all tires up to the 40s and then during PDI they are suppose to lower the 5 tires to 33 psi but never reset the spare tire to lower psi, thats why is still shows 40's psi
