Mine came in a t 40plus.
We are currently starting at 31psi cold, after a 2 mile lite highway speed of 60, they quickly rose to 33 to 34. Watching the depth wear closely. 25 TRD Off Road Premimium.
Nice ride, will reduce for off road adventures.

whatever the door jamb specifies for the oem tires that come with the vehicle.

@Nodak is correct, the door frame information is correct. That is also based on cold temp, not the pressure when the tires are warm after driving.

Mine came high (close to 50) as others have said. Once I realized that (pretty quickly) I set them correctly (33). On its first (5000 mile) service the shop set them to about 38 "based on recommended pressure by the state of CA for fuel efficiency and emissions" (that is by memory, but close). I have never heard of that before. Theoretically it would increase MPG (and therefore reduce emissions) but still sounds odd. However, I left it that way at least for now. Interestingly the next fill I got insanely good calculated mileage--hybrid engine, about 28 MPG; I had been getting consistently 23. I put that down to some error of mine--recorded miles or gallons wrong, or something like that--that should show next fill. However, I do seem to be getting noticibely better mileage. I find it hard to believe it would be that much different though. I will try to remember to follow up here when I get more info.

I saw a big jump in MPG raising my PSI to 36-37 range. I’m averaging over 25 MPG now. I guess I’ll leave my PSI like this.

Did the ride quality change at 38psi. I suspect it would.
I haven’t noticed anything. For what it’s worth the tire store mentioned the door jam sticker is the minimum tire pressure. I was told my Michelin tires should be over 36 PSI. (I’m not sure how factual that is but my MPG is better)

I have not noticed any difference in ride either at the slightly higher pressure. That said, I am not sensitive to ride--I notice washboards in the desert but on-road nothing much bothers me :).

I think it got decently better at 38. It’s not a world of a difference, but I noticed that it softened smaller bumps.
