Thanks everyone for your words.
The truck was found by the police 45 minutes away from home, unfortunately the electronics were pulled out, window broken, I’m busy dealing with insurance and police, also because the car is not working at all, one window is broken and the other 3 are down the car got all wet inside because it was raining in the morning, it’s so upsetting, insurance just tells us no to worry that is going to get fix, I just want my new truck like it was, I had only put 91 kilometres.
What a nightmare and a headache, sorry this happened to you, and thanks for sharing your advice with the community.

Thank you.
It seems that the insurance won’t replace the this vehicle unless the damage is more than $50 thousand Canadian dollars, by the looks of the damage I don’t think it’s that much!, however my wife and I are heartbroken completely and we don’t want this vehicle, we only had it for 3 days I only put 91 kilometres, it’s so disappointing, we work so hard, this is our first 4Runner and we were completely devastated. I was still learning all new stuff and technology.

So sorry to hear they won’t replace it. That’s insurance companies for you…I get what you’re saying that you don’t want the vehicle anymore since it’s wrecked after only 3 days. Hopefully a good shop returns it to brand new levels and have the option of selling it if you still feel the same afterwards. Sorry man.

The solution is not to just throw your hands up and assume this is inevitable. Local governments have to find a way to do something to stop it before these situations escalate further and someone ends up shot trying to steal a car.
Me saying we have to deal with it is not throwing my hands in the air. Just being realistic. You can blame the government for all of your woes if you like, me, I am going to hold the lock button and press the unlocked button twice and eliminate the issue and worry about other things, like why I can't catch fish like I should be catching fish.

Sorry to hear what happen to you and your 3 day old 4R. I guess I am totally naĂŻve not thinking something like this can happen. Get it fixed up and trade it for a new one.

Once again, thank you to all of you for your kind words.
I talk to friend in this forum that happens to work with the insurance industry in (Canada) and he said that unfortunately if a car gets stolen or you get in a car accident and once the car gets fixed it loses a portion of its value, this is the most expensive car I have ever owned, it took me years of hard work and a few trades in, to get to this beautiful truck, so I can’t afford to sell it for a lot less than what I paid for and put more money just to get to the exact vehicle.

Man.. Very sorry to hear this. I lost my 2021 TRD Pro on the day after I moved to Seattle back in '21.. I had boxes in the garage and parked in on the street for the night. Here's the kicker, the thieves moved it about 2 miles from my house and parked it. BUT... They shut it off before they cut the battery cables... so, it pinged it's last location to the Toyota app and I was able to recover it before they came back to strip it. The dealer claims it should have never been able to be stolen with a fob duplicator. It happened. I'd look into an immobilizer, though the dealer also says it has one built in. Also likely BS... Sorry this happened to you. I can empathize with you pain.

Yes it’s so frustrating brother thank you!
I used the Toyota app to locate my truck within 15 minutes after it was stolen, by the time police got there, the truck was gone again, 4 hours later the truck was found 45 minutes away from home, they had already cut all the cables that traces the truck with the Toyota app, police said the thieves usually leave the cars parked on a side street for maybe 8 hours to see if it has a tracking and after the 8 hours they come again to pick up the truck, to hide it in a warehouse to get it ready to ship overseas?
They damage all the electronics completely!! Damage around 20 to 30 thousand( Canadian dollars) as per body shop?
